The paranormal role-playing series where players must balance daily life as a high school student while battling demons and
other supernatural forces at night returns with this update to the PlayStation 2's Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. Persona 4
Golden features upgraded graphics, extra story events, more voiced dialog, additional Personas to collect, and a new
character. Atlus has also implemented a new feature that provides users with the ability to ask other players for assistance
when they are near death in the TV world.
The papercraft offshoot of Nintendo's defining franchise comes to 3DS gamers for the first time with a new sticker theme and a
return to turn-based combat in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It seems that Bowser has blown up Decalburg's famed Sticker
Comet, blasting stickers and chunks of comet to all corners of the Mushroom Kingdom, and leaving Mario and his friend Kersti
to pick up the pieces. Stickers are so much more than decoration in Sticker Star, as they can also be placed in strategic areas
to solve puzzles, or deployed as weapons in turn-based battles.
Based on the popular MMO, Ragnarok Tactics offers gamers classic grid-based combat set in the middle of crumbling truce
between multiple feuding factions. Players choose to be a part of the Branshaldo Empire, the Aura Republic, or the Toren
Milita, witnessing the same story from three different perspectives, and eventually unlocking one of five different endings.
Each character can be customized with modifiable skills, stats, and more than a dozen job classes like Sniper, Paladin, and
High Priest. Ad Hoc mode let multiplayer fans share weapons with friends or engage in Extra Battles.
Natsume's long-running farming series returns to the 3DS as green-thumbed gamers help restore the economically
depressed Echo Village in Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning. Tasked with taking over the family farm, players must first
restore the entire town by finding blueprints and building structures. After that, it's classic agricultural action as gamers plant
and cultivate crops, tend to livestock, earn money for their farm, and court a potential spouse. Multiplayer fans can also interact
with friends in other villages and share crops as needed.
Ragnarok Odyssey offers Vita gamers a Monster Hunter-like experience full of fast-paced melee combat, giant boss battles,
and co-op multiplayer action for up to four. Players customize their character from more than 20,000 options, including six
different character classes. Each class offers four unique attacks, while the giant bosses require deft use of combo attacks
and vertical platform assaults akin to the battles in Shadow of the Colossus. Gamers can collect their post-battle spoils and
use them for new missions, items, and equipment upgrades at the main hub of Rune Midgard.

A sequel to the well-received DS title 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward is a
cinematic adventure game that combines elements of the TV show Survivor and the Saw movies. Players take on the role of
lewd young man named Sigma as he and eight other characters solve puzzles, cooperate, and trick one another in order to
earn nine Bangle Points (BP) and escape an abandoned warehouse. The decisions players make have lasting effects,
resulting in 24 different endings, while a BP of zero leads to death by lethal injection.
A quirky RPG set in a universe with seven elemental worlds, each corresponding to a color of the rainbow, Mugen Souls puts
players in control of Chou-Chou, a young girl whose eight different personalities all tell her to conquer the universe. Gamers
are free to explore all of the 3D worlds, finding treasure and items, and battling enemies, and capturing entities known as
Master Points. Master Points can then be turned into peons using Chou-Chou's special "Moe Kill" ability, provided she is in
the correct one of her eight forms.
A re-imagining of the popular and influential 1994 PC title X-COM: UFO Defense, XCOM: Enemy Unknown takes place in the
near future when hostile and technologically superior aliens have invaded Earth. To fight back, the world's governments
have formed an elite paramilitary organization, and as commander of this "Extraterrestrial Combat Unit," Xbox 360 players
must coordinate a worldwide effort that includes planning combat missions, controlling the soldiers in battle, researching
and reverse-engineering alien technology, and creating and upgrading the XCOM base.
Gamers take control of the powerful princess Solange Blanchefleur de Lux as she engages in an action-packed battle
between man and monster in Code of Princess. Similar to the Dreamcast title Guardian Heroes, the action takes place in
classic side-scrolling fashion, with battles occurring on three different horizontal planes. In normal action, gamers can only
battle against foes on the same plane, but by locking on with ranged weapons they can deal double the damage to enemies
anywhere on the screen. Players can also use special burst attacks to overwhelm more powerful opponents.

The first true sequel for Nintendo's long-running and ultra-popular creature-breeding RPG franchise, Pokémon: Black Version
2 sends players back to the Unova region for more exploration, collection, and turn-based battling. Unova has changed
drastically in the two years since the first game, with new towns to explore, new characters, and familiar friends in new roles.
Gamers once again take on the role of a Pokémon trainer and travel around the world battling other trainers, interacting with
Gym Leaders, and uncovering the mysteries of the Black Kyurem and White Kyurem.
Dragon's Dogma is an action-driven role-playing game with an optional element of online sharing. It is played in an original
but familiar fantasy setting, where the focus is on magic and melee combat. Players choose a class and customize their
characters' appearance. The hero adventures with one or more computer-controlled party members, who can follow simple
instructions and help in combat, and also ask questions and provide information. Battle mechanics incorporate a grapple
feature, which allows characters to climb aboard giant monsters, in order to strike at vulnerable points.
The fourth official expansion for Blizzard's massively popular MMO, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria takes place after the
Cataclysm, and offers gamers a host of new features, including a new class and an entirely new playable race. The
Pandaren are a race of anthropomorphic giant pandas living on a continent heretofore separated from the rest of Azeroth,
only to have a fierce naval battle between the Horde and the Alliance reveal their foggy home. With no immediate alliance to
either side of the long-running conflict, the Pandarens may save the world, or help bring about its end.
Directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, famed creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, The Last Story aims to combine the mood
and character development of traditional Japanese RPGs with the more streamlined gameplay of the stealth, strategy, and
shooting genres. Players join the sword-wielding mercenary Zael, the noble magician Calista, and a handful of companions
as they help the humans of Lazulis Island battle the malevolent Gurak race. Skirmishes come in various forms, with Zael
capable of performing stealth attacks or snapping to cover and firing crossbow projectiles.
Atlus' long-running series about demon-battling high-school teenagers abandons the realm of role-playing in favor of classic
2D fighting in Persona 4 Arena. Set two months after the events of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, players find themselves
entering the "P-1 Grand Prix" fighting tournament in order to learn why the character Teddie is suddenly hosting a TV show.
There are more than a dozen fighters culled from Persona 3 and Persona 4 (not including their persona alter egos), each
offering unique heavy, light, and persona attacks, as well as persona rushes.
Square Enix's popular coupling with the Disney universe continues as 3DS gamers get their first crack at guiding series
protagonists Sora and Riku through seven dream worlds on a quest to become Keyblade Masters in Kingdom Hearts 3D:
Dream Drop Distance. Five of the dream worlds are based on Disney franchises, including Fantasia, Pinocchio, and Tron:
Legacy, and all of the worlds are inhabited by Dream Eaters, strange creatures split into good "Spirits" and bad
"Nightmares," in keeping with the dualistic nature of the series.
Originally a Japan-only PS2 title, Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time brings its tactical role-playing action, ring-based weaponry,
character relationships, and multiple endings to North America for the first time, complete with updated visuals for the PSP.

Gamers explore towns and dungeons from an isometric perspective, forming a four-party crew from 11 different characters,
and engaging in real-time battles.

Idea Factory's generation-spanning strategy RPG returns to PS3 gamers with a new protagonist, an updated battle system,
and suggestive new mini-games in Record of Agarest War 2. Players begin the quest as Weiss, a young amnesiac man who
is responsible for unwittingly killing a deity and unleashing a plague of demons into the world. As in all entries of the series,
the game mixes turn-based battles with affairs of the heart, asking gamers to court a variety of potential mates and produce
offspring, with Weiss' child and grandchild becoming the protagonists later in the game.
A Pokémon-flavored homage to the classic NES title Nobunaga's Revenge, Pokémon Conquest puts DS players in control
of a young warlord and his linked Pokémon as they attempt to expand their kingdom by engaging in turn-based tactical
combat. Gamers send their Pokémon into six-on-six battles, using their warriors' special abilities, and making sure to
include a diverse group of characters to adjust to shifting battle conditions. Victories give players control of new castles, and
unlock new warlords, new warriors, and new ways to train the nearly 200 included Pokémon.
Sony's Sorcery is an adventure of motion-controlled magic, set in a fairy tale world inspired by Irish folklore. Players take the
role of a sorcerer's apprentice, who stands against the forces of the deceitful Nightmare Queen as she seeks to bring eternal
night to the land. The PlayStation Move controller is wielded as a magic wand, to cast spells in combat. Players also use
motion controls to create potions, in the game's alchemy system. Progressing through the adventure, the apprentice loots
useful magical gear, learns more powerful spells, and discovers potion-making upgrades.
After a decade-long absence, Blizzard's beloved and oft-imitated isometric RPG looter returns with more monsters, more
randomly generated dungeons, a new auction system for trading, and four new character classes in Diablo III. Gamers can
choose to play as a wizard, a witch doctor, a demon hunter, a monk, or a barbarian, with each class offering unique styles of
play, and each making use of a different resource system. Set 20 years after the events of Diablo II, Diablo III sends players
to Tristram to investigate stories about a fallen star, said to be a sign of the End Times.
