experience, for a visit to see if he can help. But as Joaquin struggles to get Mark to open up, the father's presence ignites an
old conflict between him and Elena; the doctor was a supporter of Franco during the Spanish Civil War and served under the
dictator's regime, and Elena has never been able to forgive him for his actions against the Spanish loyalists.
Ghosted is a mysterious love story set in Hamburg and the beautifully depicted Taipei, marking a return to narrative filmmaking
for the director after almost a decade in documentary work. Through a mixture of flashback and present day storytelling we
follow the Hamburg artist Sophie as she comes to terms with her Taiwanese lover Ai-Ling's murder. To ease her grief she
creates a video installation about Ai-Ling, travelling to Taipei to exhibit and dedicate it to her. There she meets ambitious and
seductive journalist Mei-Li who is investigating Ai-Ling's death, and whom the artist is immediately drawn to. Unable to forget
her dead lover Sophie runs from the journalist's advances back to Hamburg, but when Mei-Li turns up on her doorstep Sophie
can no longer deny her attraction. She risks opening her heart up once more until she discovers Mei-Li isn't all that she seems,
and Sophie realises that you can't run away from your past. Ghosted is an intimately shot film with excellent use of location
shooting in both Hamburg and Taipei. Treut's return to narrative film builds on an already impressive oeuvre.
Private detective John Rosow is hired to tail a man on a train from Chicago to Los Angeles. Rosow gradually uncovers the
man's identity as a missing person; one of the thousands presumed dead after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade
Center. Persuaded by a large reward, Rosow is charged with bringing the missing person back to his wife in New York City.
One Missed Call is a 2008 remake of a Japanese horror by Takashi Miike. Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) is a young
woman, receiving a phone call from her future self, telling her the exact date and hour of her death. Aghast, she contacts the
police, as recently her friends received similar phone calls and died soon after. Only the police chief Jack Andrews (Ed
Byrnes) takes her words seriously, as he suspects his sister has also passed in strange circumstances after receiving a call.
Together, they start the investigation of this mystery, knowing that Beth's time is soon running out.

consciousness, they find no trace of her body. A bit distraught the couple arrives in Tokyo to begin their new life. Meanwhile
Ben begins noticing strange white blurs in many of his fashion shoot photographs. Jane believes that the blurs are actually
spirit photography of the dead girl who they hit on the road, and that she may be seeking vengeance.

Two people Matt and Kate wake up in a closed down prison. They have no idea how they got there, or why they are there. In
the prison they encounter several terrors as they look for an exit. These terrors include a wolf beast that terrorizes Kate, a
hideous monster that hunts them both, a "zombie" surgeon who operates on people whilst you're still alive, the executioner
who gives Kate a ride in his electric chair and finally executes her with the guillotine. But Kate just wakes up again in the
prison and the nightmare continues. Also in the prison Matt and Kate encounter a strange number that pops up a regular
basis, first the number is being printed over and over again on a printer gone crazy, next the number appears painted on a
wall in blood. Kate finds a room containing a vacuum tube machine for sending messages between rooms, when she
pushes the operation button it comes alive and a cylinder appears. Inside the cylinder are the pictures of five people, Kate
has no idea who these five people are. Later in the movie Matt and Kate explore the basement in the search for an exit and
discover five pairs of shoes all neatly arranged on a shelf ...
