An historical epic set in 18th-century Kazakhstan, where a young man is destined to unite the country's three warring tribes.
Set in the Philippines in 1945 towards the end of WWII, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci and Captain
Robert Prince, the 6th Ranger Battalion undertake a daring rescue mission against all odds. Traveling thirty miles behind
enemy lines, they intend to liberate over 500 American Soldiers from the notorious Cabanatuan Japanese POW camp in the
most audacious rescue ever.
Jarhead (the self-imposed moniker of the Marines) follows "Swoff" (Gyllenhaal), a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering
stint in boot camp to active duty, sporting a sniper's rifle and a hundred-pound ruck on his back through Middle East deserts
with no cover from intolerable heat or from Iraqi soldiers, always potentially just over the next horizon. Swoff and his fellow
Marines sustain themselves with sardonic humanity and wicked comedy on blazing desert fields in a country they don't
understand against an enemy they can't see for a cause they don't fully fathom... Foxx portrays Sergeant Sykes, a Marine lifer
who heads up Swofford's scout/sniper platoon, while Sarsgaard is Swoff's friend and mentor, Troy, a die-hard member of
STA-their elite Marine Unit.
In a daring attempt to end the war by Christmas, Winston Churchill and the British High Command hatch an extraordinary plan
- Operation Market Garden. 35,000 British troops are dropped behind enemy lines in German occupied Holland. In the midst
of the largest airborne invasion in history, one small unit of men, codename "Matchbox" has it's own agenda. When Matchbox
are shot down short of their landing zone, the odds of their success seem hopeless. Seven very different British soldiers find
themselves separated from the Allied invasion, on a collision course with three renegade German soldiers who also want to
lay claim to the horde.
The animated comedy tells the story of a lowly wood pigeon named Valiant, who overcomes his small size to become a hero
in Great Britain's Royal Air Force Homing Pigeon Service during World War II. The RHPS advanced the Allied cause by flying
vital messages about enemy movements across the English Channel, whilst evading brutal attacks by the enemy's Falcon
It is the time of the Crusades during the Middle Ages - the world shaping 200-year collision between Europe and the East. A
blacksmith named Balian has lost his family and nearly his faith. The religious wars raging in the far-off Holy Land seem
remote to him, yet he is pulled into that immense drama. Amid the pageantry and intrigues of medieval Jerusalem he falls in
love, grows into a leader, and ultimately uses all his courage and skill to defend the city against staggering odds. Destiny
comes seeking Balian in the form of a great knight, Godfrey of Ibelin, a Crusader briefly home to France from fighting in the
East. Revealing himself as Balian's father, Godfrey shows him the true meaning of knighthood and takes him on a journey
across continents to the fabled Holy City. In Jerusalem at that moment--between the Second and Third Crusades--a fragile
peace prevails, through the efforts of its enlightened Christian king, Baldwin IV, aided by his advisor Tiberias, and the military
restraint of the legendary Muslim leader Saladin.
The movie is a sweeping romantic drama set in 1930's England, Paris, and Spain. Gilda Bessé shares her Paris apartment
with an Irish schoolteacher, Guy Malyon, and Mia, a refugee from Spain. As the world drifts toward war, Gilda defiantly
pursues her hedonistic lifestyle and her burgeoning career as a photographer. But Guy and Mia feel impelled to join the fight
against fascism, and the three friends are separated - seemingly forever.
At the height of Hitler's infamous U-boat war, the crew of the U.S.S. Swordfish were heading home after months at sea. They
never made it. Now prisoners of war aboard U-boat 429, a small group of American survivors will find their loyalties put to
the ultimate test when they're forced to join their German captors to fight for their very lives.
When his army unit was ambushed during the first Gulf War, Sergeant Raymond Shaw saved his fellow soldiers just as his
commanding officer, then-Captain Ben Marco, was knocked unconscious. Brokering the incident for political capital, Shaw
eventually becomes a vice-presidential nominee, while Marco is haunted by dreams of what happened — or didn't happen —
in Kuwait. As Marco (now a Major) investigates, the story begins to unravel, to the point where he questions if it happened at
all. Is it possible the entire unit was kidnapped and brainwashed to believe Shaw is a war hero as part of a plot to seize the
White House? Some very powerful people at Manchurian Global corporation appear desperate to stop him from finding out.
Ten years ago some of the worst atrocities in the history of mankind took place in the country of Rwanda--and in an era of
high-speed communication and round the clock news, the events went almost unnoticed by the rest of the world. In only
three months, one million people were brutally murdered. In the face of these unspeakable actions, inspired by his love for
his family, an ordinary man summons extraordinary courage to save the lives of over a thousand helpless refugees, by
granting them shelter in the hotel he manages.
Story of a group of U.S. movie moguls who arrive in the UK to shoot a mvoie about the great English wartime prime minister.
On arrival for the first day of the shoot, however, the filmmakers discover the actor playing Churchill to be a robust, unattractive
cigar-smoker and decide to replace him with a better-looking, more virile actor.
In this film, muckraker Michael Moore turns his eye on George W. Bush and his War on Terrorism agenda. He illustrates his
argument about how this failed businessman with deep connections to the royal house of Saud of Saudia Arabia and the Bin
Ladins got elected on fraudulent circumstances and proceeded to blunder through his duties while ignoring warnings of the
looming betrayal by his foreign partners. When that treachery hits with the 9/11 attacks, Moore explains how Bush failed to take
immediate action to defend his nation, only to later cynically manipulate it to serve his wealthy backers' corrupt ambitions.
Through facts, footage and interviews, Moore illustrates his contention of how Bush and his cronies have gotten America into
worse trouble than ever before and why Americans should not stand for it.
Alexander (Farrell), the King of Macedonia, leads his legions against the giant Persian Empire. After defeating the Persians
he leads his Army across the then known world venturing further than any Westerner had ever gone all the way to India.
The Roman Empire is stretched across many nations, including Britain. In their conquest for more land, the Romans went
into Sarmatia where they fought the very brave Sarmatian cavalery. The Romans, impressed by the Sarmatian's weaponery
and fighting skills, included them into their army as knights. After 15 years of serving and fighting for the Roman Empire the
Sarmatian Knights, lead by Arthur/Artorious Castus, are about to receive their freedom as the Romans are leaving Britain. But
the Knights must carry out one final order before they are free. A Roman priest and his family, especially his son Alecto, must
be rescued from the invading Saxons. But there is another danger lurking on the road to freedom - the Woads, British rebels
who hate the Romans.
Historical drama detailing the 1835-36 Texas revolution before, during, and after the famous siege of the Alamo (February
23-March 6, 1836) where 183 Texans (American-born Texans) and Tejanos (Mexican-born Texans) commanded by Colonel
Travis, along with Davey Crockett and Jim Bowie, were besieged in an abandoned mission outside San Antonio by a Mexican
army of nearly 2,000 men under the personal command of the dictator of Mexico, General Santa Anna, as well as detailing the
Battle of San Jacinto (April 21, 1836) where General Sam Houston's rag-tag army of Texans took on and defeated Santa
Anna's army which led to the indepedence of Texas.
An impressive roster of experts is assembled to provide a generally withering commentary on the quality of evidence and
possible motivations of the Neo-conservatives who provided the momentum and muscle behind America's venture into
preemptive war. Among them are veteran CIA analysts and operatives, military officers, diplomats, politicians, arms
inspectors, and U.S. and British government officials. The fig leaf of the possibility of an honest mistake on the matter of
WMDs is stripped away; what is left is the stark and disturbing anatomy of deliberate deceit.
Mississippi, just before Pearl Harbor. Two brothers, Pete, about 19 and Willie, about 10 years younger. They are clearly close
friends. The news arrives, and Pete goes to enlist. Willie wants to come along, but is told he cannot. After his brother leaves,
the boy walks 30 miles to the nearest town, where the sheriff eventually puts him on a bus to Memphis where his brother is.
At the recruiting office, Willie proves even more determined to see his brother; eventually, sympathetic Col. McKellogg takes
care of him.
Gods and Generals follows the rise and fall of legendary war hero "Stonewall Jackson". The prequel to the 1993 hit

world's most dangerous hot spots. Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie stars as Sarah Jordan, an American living in
London in 1984. She is married to Henry Bauford (Linus Roache) son of a wealthy British industrialist, when she encounters
Nick Callahan (Clive Owen) a renegade doctor, whose impassioned plea for help to support his relief efforts in war-torn Africa
moves her deeply. As a result, Sarah embarks upon a journey of discovery that leads to danger, heartbreak and romance in
the far corners of the world.

community, hoping to reunite with his prewar sweetheart, Ada, played by Nicole Kidman.
